2 years sounds pretty good for the battery in a clock, pretty much standard. The back of most watches are (as in this picture: http://www.findwatches.co.uk/images/z_YF-141-22-626_3.jpg) waterproof.

They are the ones that stand out, to expose the battery compartment under Blunt with a small lever. The best way is, but only to bring them to a local jeweler. Here are the most jewelers in the United Kingdom will make a replacement battery and you fit in less than 5 pounds (about $ 8).

You can do the same price on the back with a screwdriver or similar. Be careful not to scratch or deform when the back - it's easy to do.

One thing in mind is that most clocks do not determine if you replace the battery if you back it actually sealed at the manufacturer. When you turn again shut the clock to ensure it remains watertight. You will not be able to do it myself.

Most of the quartz (analog) clocks will take about two years, they are very good in this respect.

Changing the battery should always be a manufacturer of watches, the cost of $ 5) (because we must be careful when opening a clock.

Do you have a battery? Pat will be in it. Or is it a rope? So must be cleaned. The place to go to a jeweler for the service. If you have a cheap look, go to the local pharmacy (or Kmart) and buy a new battery. In general, it will install free of charge.

It is always better to get more information to give the best answer.
