If the patient I'm caring for has Rapid Atrial Fibrillation and Dyspnea, why is she being prescribed heparin? - atrial fibrillation more condition_symptoms

I looked at the patients of today's rapid atrial fibrillation, and dyspnea with a rapid irregular heartbeat, low blood pressure, jaundice, and rapid breathing. Listening to your lungs, you can hear rattling and squeeking. Why prescribe heparin?

Heparin is an anticoagulant used to prevent blood clots. Because your patients AF is fast, suggests cardiac arrhythmia, so sometimes collects the blood in certain chambers of the heart and heparin to prevent blood clots from forming in these areas. I assume that the patient is on digoxin and also an obstacle to the heartbeat.
